25th International Wildlife Photo Competition

Montier Photo Festival is now organizing an exciting competition for photographers from around the world. It is free digital photography and filmed sequences program about to take place from 17th to 20th November 2021 in Montier-en-Der. Any individual photographer with any level of photography skills can be a part of this opportunity. This competition is divided into ten categories, and each category is based on a different theme. Participants will have to click still or filmed images of wild flora, fauna, landscapes, and accounts supporting the conservation of habitats, species and biodiversity, and send them to compete in this program.

For this competition, preference will be given to the personal work and ethical standards of the photographers. The candidates should be the real owner of the work and comply with any national or international legislation regarding protected species and habitats where the image was taken. This competition will help young and emerging photographers to boost their career and refine their skills. This is a prestigious competition, so taking part in this program will prove beneficial for photographers who are in need of a motivational push. Montier Photo Festival began over 24 years ago by the consistent efforts of a group of friends with a passion for photography and wildlife, who decided to organize a fair showcasing the prestigious. The very first event witnessed around 4,000 visitors in two days and not has become a favourite and most attended festival for both amateur and professional photographers as well as nature lovers and the general public.

Who May Be Eligible

This competition is welcoming both amateur and professional photographers.

You can send your entry for this program by completing an online application form that must be filled with all accurate and complete information.

Supporting Documents

This program has ten categories so you can send your pictures for your favourite category:

  • Wild birds in nature (3 photos maximum)
  • Wild mammals in nature (3 photos maximum)
  • Other wild animals in nature (3 photos maximum)
  • Wild plants (maximum of three photos)
  • Graphics, form and matter of nature (3 photos maximum)
  • Natural landscapes of the world (3 photos maximum)
  • Still image sequences representing a homogeneous sequence, chronological or harmonious of 3 to 5 images on the previous themes
  • Film sequence showing a short video of nature (see article 6)
  • Man and nature (militant or documentary images, 3 photos maximum)
  • Nature revisited (3 photos maximum)

Benefits

All the submissions will be judged by a panel comprising wildlife photography experts and naturalists. They will shortlist the competition images for the festival exhibition and award prizes for each category. All the candidates will be invited to explore the winning images and get their prizes at the award ceremony during the Festival.
