A career as a wildlife photographer is grabbing the attention of today’s young generation. Students are coming forward to show their talent in this field. Wildlife Photography has some of the world’s most valued professionals serving this field very well. Wildlife Photography is one of the favourite genres of photography which requires lots of patients, courage and the ability to work in uncertain conditions to succeed. Wildlife photography is all about taking shots of animals in their habitats. Since some species are on the edge of extinct due to the increasing human encroachment, this field has also been helping conserve those animal and their habitats. Keeping this in mind, Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have come up once again to award deserving people interested in this area. Photographers of all level are welcome to apply.
This year’s competition has been divided into seven categories. Plus, there is no entry fee required to participate in this program. Applications are open for candidates worldwide and needed to submit the images only of wild animals as domestic, farm, or captive animals’ images will not be considered. Apart from this, pictures of animals residing in the zoo are not allowed either. The best picture will be selected as the winner and combine the best technical excellence with the most amusing content and caption. So don’t waste your time! Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is a program led by three amazing people, namely: Paul Joynson-Hicks, Tom Sullam and Michelle Wood. Paul Joynson-Hicks is the founder of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards wildlife photographer who found humour photography as the perfect way to draw the attention of our media toward the face of our natural world. Through this program, he, with his time, has been providing opportunities to contribute to doing so. The motive of this team behind establishing this project is want to promote positive awareness of global conservation issues for the preservation of biodiversity and the health and prosperity of the human race.
