WCMA’s Student Scholarships

Students who are in search of funds have a great opportunity to apply for the WCMA’s Student Scholarships designed by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. The applications are made available to students attending any college, university, or technical school in the United States. Preferences for the scholarship program will be given to candidates pursuing degrees and careers connected to the dairy industry.

The association provides educational opportunities via its scholarship program, and industry-specific training at the Center for Dairy Research and via Madison College. The funds act as a great supportive pillar for students in achieving their higher and quality education. The recipients will be able to accomplish their educational goals with the help of the scholarship funds.

Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association member cheesemakers, butter makers and whey processors strive to produce the finest dairy products in the world. WCMA is partnering with the Center for Dairy Research to execute the Artisan Dairy Producer Food Safety Initiative which, thanks to funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture-National Institute of Food and Agriculture, will help ensure industry adoption of the new Food Safety Modernization Act.
