The PSIA – AASI is calling candidates to apply for their unique Veteran Workforce and Education Track Scholarship. This scholarship is initiated in partnership with 10th mountain Division Foundation for active and non-active military PSIA-AASI members and non-PSIA-AASI members. Candidates should have an interest in working in the outdoor industry as an instructor or patroller.
The motive of the program is to offer the opportunity for veterans to complete their dreams of achieving the education and the training of outdoor activities and create a good career in it. This program is exclusively designed for those who are passionate towards the taught of being a good instructor or a patroller. This program is designed to open pathways towards a wonderful career for candidates in the outdoor industry.
The PSIA-AASI is the excellent association that recognizes and appreciates each candidate’s hard work and dedication towards their work. This is the world’s biggest organization having more than 32000 individuals dedicated to skiing and snowboarding. The association of dedicated to getting people stoked on the ski and snowboard experiences. It was founded in the year 1961 and is since then keen towards developing materials and programs for its members.

Who May Be Eligible?
Here are the requirements you need to follow before applying for the program:
- Active and non-active military PSIA-AASI members and non-PSIA-AASI members are eligible.
- Students should have an interest in working in the outdoor industry as an instructor or patroller.
- Fellows should demonstrate leadership qualities and express interest in pursuing PSIA-AASI Level I certification or in pursuing certification in NSPs outdoor emergency care or outdoor first care.

Only the eligible students are welcome to apply for the program by submitting an online application form. All the needed details must be adequately filled in the form. Fellows should maintain the authenticity of the information they are submitting. The association will accept no applications with incomplete materials. All the required details must be submitted with care.
Supporting Documents
Service record, a cover letter explaining your interest in scholarship, a professional update resume is mandatory.
Your education plan is required of maximum 300 words. One letter of recommendation is needed of maximum 250 words.
