Who May Be Eligible?

Here are the requirements mentioned below to help you ensure your eligibility:

  • Students must be attending a Kentucky college, university, or trade school to pursue an equine-associated career.
  • Applicants must be Kentucky Horse Council student members.
  • Fellows must demonstrate academic success, Kentucky equine industry involvement, and community service during the past year.
  • If no major or minor is offered in the student’s current institute, students should demonstrate how they are planning to use their area of study within the equine industry.

How to Apply

If you are eligible for the above-given process, you can apply for the program by downloading the application candidates should use the same form to send all the required information and supporting materials. Consideration will not be granted to incomplete applications. If all the paperwork needs to be re-submitted, do not apply to the previous submission. Applications must be returned to the Kentucky Horse Council with all other required materials before the deadline.
