The WQAD has announced The Family Credit Union Coloring Sweepstakes. This year’s 2021 competition has been made to bring families that are a part of the credit union together. They understand that encouraging talent is important, so through this sweepstake, they encourage the children of all their members who are interested in art, to send in their entries. Applications are now open for this exciting competition to all the members, young and old who have nay artwork that they have made to show to the world!
The “Family Credit Union Coloring Sweepstakes” is an initiative of the “WQAD” to provide a source of motivation and thank the community of people using their service. The Family Credit Union Coloring Sweepstakes will be conducted in compliance with the Official Rules. Entrants’ absolute and unconditional agreement to, and approval of, these rules is required to participate in the Sweepstakes.
WQAD News 8 reports on the Quad Cities and the wider area. They honor the residents of the Midwest who go about their daily lives. People who break through the red tape to discover practical solutions to local issues. When the rules don’t make sense, they support those who violate them. They criticize politicians who do little and have no solutions to the problems that many families face. They’re dedicated to sharing the stories of selfless people who make sacrifices and give of themselves for the good of others. They highlight ineffective government controls, misguided interests, and excessive spending. Local innovators who are getting things done are lauded. Individuals, friends, and neighbors who rise and take charge of their fates deserve their admiration.

Who May Be Eligible
Candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria to take part in the Family Credit Union Coloring Sweepstakes:
- Entrants must be legal US citizens aged 18 or over, as decided by Sponsors, and live in The Nielsen Company’s Davenport, IA – Moline, IL – Rock Island, IL Designated Market Area.
- The Sweepstakes Area spans 17 Iowa and Illinois counties. Jo Daviess, Carroll, Whiteside, Bureau, Henry, Rock Island, Mercer, Knox, Henderson, Warren, and Knox are the counties in Illinois. Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, Louisa, Des Moines, and Henry are the counties in Iowa.
- Employees of WQAD, The Family Credit Union, and other tv or radio outlets, as well as members of their immediate families, are not entitled to enter or win. Spouses, brothers, parents, offspring, grandparents and grandchildren, and any other individual living in the same household, whether or not related, are considered “immediate relatives.”.
How to Apply

- To qualify, carefully fill out the submission form found in the contest section of WQAD.com. Parents give their permission for their children to submit their artwork, which, if selected, would be seen on television.
- One entry per email address is allowed. Entries who exceed this limit will be disqualified. WQAD owns all of the submissions it receives, and they will not be returned. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
Benefits
This year for the Family Credit Union Coloring Sweepstakes total of ten winners will be chosen at random from all qualifying entries. The winning entrants will be broadcast once a day (Monday through Friday) between April 12th and April 22nd. The prize is a $25 Visa gift card for the winners. This can be used by the participant to pursue their art and can also be a huge source of joy and encouragement for the children who submitted their artworks.
