All the deserving and tremendously talented female high school seniors have an extraordinary call to get some bucks for defraying your financial stress. The Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce is eager to offer its ATHENA/Woman of the Year Scholarship to the most deserving women. A candidate should be a female high school senior who demonstrated community involvement, leadership, and academic achievement and having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered. The student must be a graduating senior residing in Alliance city, West Branch Local, Sebring Local, Marlington Local, or females attending St. Thomas Aquinas to be eligible.
The motive of this scholarship is to empower women and encourage them to do better in their careers. The firm understands the importance of appreciation for those who deserve and appreciates these women and motivates them to do better in their careers and achieve their goals this scholarship has been designed. This scholarship was started in 2013 to appreciate the worthy qualities of the highly passionate women about their dreams.
Athena International is having the mission of developing, honouring, and supporting the female from classroom to boardroom with the help of a worthy global network of women leaders. The Foundation is based on the vision of bringing balance to leadership voices all across the world by creating and empowering women leaders. The Foundation has initiated several programs to support women in all areas of their lives. They offer outstanding women all they deserve.

Who May Be Eligible?

- Fellows should be accepted at recognizing the institution of learning, offering a post-high school curriculum.
How to Apply
Only the eligible candidates should download the application. Fellows should follow the guidelines on the application and fill it with all the required details. Applicants should make sure that they are providing all the mandatory information without any delay. Please strictly follow the deadline as the Foundation will reject late applications. Candidates, along with the application, should submit all the needed supporting materials to be considered. - Transcripts, three letters of recommendation, two from teachers, and one from an adult outside from family.
- Three hundred words essay on why you deserve this scholarship based on the tenets of community involvement, academic achievement, and leadership, including your career goal.
Benefits
Selected women will receive the award amount of $1000 to pay towards their educational costs. This amount must only be used to pay candidates’ tuition, fees, books, and other verified needs. This scholarship is non-renewable but motivates students to do better in their academics by working hard. It encourages students to benefit society with their education and knowledge.

The last acceptance date for the scholarship is December 11 2020. There will be no approval of incomplete applications.
