- A 750-1,000 word essay which is describing the applicant’s situation as a minority with a single parent, the impact that it had on them, and how it has shaped them into the person they are today. In the essay, applicants should also address their college, law school, and career plans and how this scholarship will help them achieve those plans.
- A current, unofficial academic transcript from the candidates’ school.
