Applicants must be a full time or part-time graduate students in a major related to water resources which include but don’t limits to biology, conservation, ecology, engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrology, limnology, stormwater management, water quality, or wildlife studies and other water-related studies to be eligible.
The Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association is willing to help the students who are in water-related studies. The association is dedicated to supporting the education of water studies and through it growing the field in the right direction. Benefits
Multiple students will be selected to award the scholarship ranging between $3,000 to $500 each. The funds received must only be used to pay the education-related expenses like tuition, books, rooms and other associated costs. This scholarship reduces financial stress on students and motivates them to do better in their water resources education without worrying about the burden of their educational expenses.
