The university is currently accepting applications for its Fall 2021-2022 academic year. Graduating high school freshmen may apply to any of the undergraduate programs to avail of the scholarships. Who May Be Eligible?
Students will have to meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Be an entering freshmen
- Unweighted high school GPA of 3.40 or above
- Must be enrolled in any of the undergraduate programs
How to Apply
No separate scholarship application is required to be eligible for the scholarships at UWM. Students will automatically be considered for the scholarships provided they meet the requirements to be eligible. By completing the admissions application, candidates may enjoy the privileges of being a scholarship holder.

Benefits
The scholarship recipients will receive the following benefits:
Chancellor’s Merit Scholarships
- Students with a High School GPA of 3.4 to 3.74 will receive an amount of $2,000 for 4 years, that is, $500 annually.
- Students with a High School GPA of 3.75 to 3.99 will receive an amount of $4,000 for 4 years, that is, $1,000 annually.
- Students with a High School GPA of 4.0 will receive an amount of $6,000 for 4 years, that is, $1,500 annually.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is December 1, 2020. Students must apply for admission on or before the deadline. Late and incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
