The American Library Association is offering the ALA Scholarship Program for the students looking for support to pursue their dream master’s program. The students attending an ALA-accredited master’s program and are residents of the United States or Canada are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship aims to present financial benefits to the deserving students desiring to pursue educational excellence and help them obtain their dream career.

Who May be Eligible?
Applicants must adhere to the eligibility criteria to apply for the ALA Scholarship Program-
- The applicant must be a US or Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- The applicant must attend an ALA-accredited master’s program.
- The applicant must not have completed more than 12 semester hours or one-third of the required semester hours towards MLS/MLIS/MIS.

The ALA Scholarship Program will grant worthy awards to the recipient. The ALA Scholarship Program includes-
- David H. Clift – this general scholarship will award $3,000.
- Christopher Hoy/ERT – this general scholarship will award $5,000.
The scholarship will help the student to achieve their dream career and overcome financial barriers.
The application deadline for the ALA Scholarship Program is March 1, 2021. Submissions received past the deadline will not be recognized.
