Space Generation Advisory Council is very proud to be able to offer 2nd Annual SSS-PG Essay Competition for 2020. If you are interested in exploring space mysteries and like to keep eyes on space missions, then you are the right person for this contest. It is your opportunity to introduce your new ideas and get yourselves involved in resolving the matter of space traffic management. Candidates should be aged of 18 to 35 years old and residents of the United States to be eligible to qualify for this competition.
These days, increasing space missions are causing the rise of defunct objects in the outer space. These defunct objects result in congestions in altitudes and orbits that are mostly used. The congestion of space around Earth is causing problems to the current and future of space exploration as well as the safety and sustainability of outer space. By this competition, you can present your views on what space traffic management measures must be internationally applied to improve the safety of outer space.
Space Generation Advisory Council is a nonprofit government organization representing university students and young space professionals to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia. It was established in 1999 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. It has 13,000 members who come from 150 countries. It has been dedicated to raising awareness among the next generation of space professionals.

Who May Be Eligible
Meet the following requirements to be a potential application of this program:
- Aspirants must be aged 18 to 35 years old on the final submission date;
- Candidates can be a citizen of any country;
- Participants must not be a member of the competition organizing team. Juries and immediate family members of juries and of the organizing team members are ineligible for this essay competition.
