Independent sound community site “A Sound Effect” has kicked off a big new sound design contest with 4 chances to win popular sound effects libraries from Spectravelers.On top of that, cloud sound effects platform Soundly is also sponsoring 1-year Soundly PRO subscriptions for two winners, giving access to 60,000 premium SFX & much more. A sound effects giveaway is also launched alongside the contest, providing a chance to win prizes without having to enter the creative part of the contest. As a bonus, all entrants get 20 free sound effects from Spectravelers to design from. These sounds can be freely used for other projects as well, including commercial ones.
The following contest asks the participants to create their own sound design for the video following the given instructions and submit it. Out of all designs, the four winners will be picked out, one from each category given. Who is Eligible?
There are no restrictions regards to eligibility, anyone is allowed to enter as long as you stick to the rules given for submission.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals are required to create their own sound design for the video below (no music is required) – here’s what you can use:
- You can only use the EMF sound effects included
- You’re welcome to process the sounds in any way you like
- 1 entry per person (you can enter both the sound design contest & giveaway)
Export the final video with audio and upload it to either Youtube, Vimeo, or Dropbox and share the link using the form given on the scholarship portal.
