Needless to say, the waste created by humans makes a negative impact on our environment. It is not only polluting our environment but affecting our health. Pollution and waste are two of the major problems humans are dealing with, and these problems are human-made. Pollution and waste are causing us health issues; destroying natural resources, and become a threat to wildlife. Recycling is one of those initiatives that anyone can take to lessen these issues. We need to practice recycling things and encourage others around us to do the same. Keeping the importance of recycling in mind and aware of people, the City of Fairview Park is now administering the “2022 Recycling Calendar Citywide Artwork Contest”. Residents of all ages and families can become a part of this program.
All the aspirants are required to show how they repurpose objects, reduce waste, or recycle through their artwork. The winning entry will be featured in the 2022 Recycling Calendar. The purpose of the City of Fairview Park behind organizing this contest is to see how people approach and what this them of recycle and reduce waste means to them. If you recycle things to help in reducing waste, the City of Fairview Park would like to know what you think about recycling and reducing waste and what initiative you take toward this.
