Get ready to show your photography talent to the world with the help of the AARP Foundation 2022 Calendar Contest accepting applications from March 2. This year, AARP Foundation is now inviting all amateur shutterbugs to become a part of its calendar content. The foundation holds a firm belief in the power of connecting others and would like to see how you connect with the world through the lens of your camera. AARP has decided on a beautiful theme for this year competition which is Life’s Small Treasures. This contest is your opportunity to use your skills and exhibit AARP the treasured moments born their smallest but most precious experiences. To get selected, you need to be amateur artists/photographers who are legal residents of the United States and an AARP member.
The best part of this contest is that you don’t need to be professional in order to compete in this program since it is for all armature artists and photographers. For this contest, three judges who are the professional in visual art will choose a minimum of 15 photographs to feature in the annual AARP Foundation calendar. Participating in this contest is completely free. You don’t need to pay any entry fee. By taking part in this contest, you can refine your photography skills and gain some recognization. Since AARP is a highly esteemed organization, winning this completion will add some value to your resume. Moreover, you can get feedback from professionals in this field and boost your career as part of this program.

Who May Be Eligible
Please have a look at the following requirements before applying:
- All amateur artists/photographers can apply;
- Applicants must be legal residents of the United States;
- Candidates should be AARP members as of March 2, 2021;
- Employees of AARP or any of its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, or advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win.
How to Apply
To submit your entry for this program, you need to go to the online portal of AARP Foundation and register if you don’t have an AARP account or log in with your existed one to get access to the online application form. Make sure that you fill the application form with all correct and complete information because doing so will prove helpful for judges in making the right decision.
Supporting Documents
As a participant of this program, you will have to submit one to three images with original captions that depict the contest theme.
Benefits
The foundation will select a minimum of fifteen and a maximum of seventeen winners in the Contest. The foundation will select one photograph of each chosen candidates for the calendar of 2022. The selected photograph of each winner’s submission will be featured in the AARP Foundation 2022 Calendar. Participants will not get any cash or other prizes in this Contest except for the publication of their winning entries.
