Martin Polanco Grant for Undergraduates

In an effort of inspiring young minds and making their learning journey as much stress-free as possible, Martin Polanco is now introducing an exciting grant. This is a 1k grant that will support the most deserving students who are motivated and want to go beyond the boundaries to help people suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health problems. Martin Polanco Grant is one-time gift money that will make things easier for students during their learning journey and remove all the barriers available to achieve an advanced degree. This grant will support the higher education of students who are a high school senior or freshmen, juniors, or sophomores enrolled in a recognized and acclaimed university or college.

Martin Polanco knows the financial challenges that make students unable to achieve their aspiration and fulfil their dreams. Due to the rising cost of education, many students are compelled to give up on their dreams and stop earning more education. These days, students are unable to show their talent and polish it since every step in the educational journey requires an investment of lots of money. For students and their families, it can be quite overwhelming to bridge the gap between the cost of education and savings. Martin Polanco understands the struggles that financial disadvantaged students are bound to go through during their educational journey. That is why he has presented this wonderful scholarship program to make it easier for them gaining higher education.

Dr Martin Polanco is a medical director of a program specialising in treatment-resistant and complex conditions such as mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Post-traumatic Stress, Depression and Addiction as a result of experiences during military service. Dr Martin Polanco is working toward its mission of making psychedelic therapy for PTSD available to every veteran that needs it while researching to prove its effectiveness.

  • Candidate must also be a freshman, junior, or sophomore enrolled in a recognized and acclaimed university or college.

Supporting Documents

Candidates don’t need to be high achievers or academically brilliant, they need to come with an amazing essay based on the following topic: “The challenges of Psychedelic Medicine Research & Reasons to Advocate Psychedelic Drugs as a Therapy”.

This grant is valued at $1,000 that will assist students in covering their study-related expenses such as tuition, books and supplies, transportation and accommodation. This scholarship will lessen their financial burden and encourage them to give better during their education.
