Mental Health System Reform Scholarship

In our life, mental health is as important as physical health. Without mental health, no one can maintain physical health. Mental and physical health is connected to each other. Due to the pandemic, the spike in mental health crises has been witnessed in the United States. It affected our society as well as the country. Keeping these facts in mind, South Carolina Criminal Practice of Price Benowitz is now launching this “Mental Health System Reform Scholarship” for students. Through this scholarship, the firm wants to raise awareness about the mental health among people as well as make available financial support for students who are in need. Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law school program within the United States are invited to apply.

Who May Be Eligible

Please meet the following requirements before applying for this program:

  • Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law school program within the United States are welcome to apply;
  • High school seniors who are graduating and will be enrolled in college before the scholarship deadline are also eligible to submit an essay;
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for consideration.

  • A current resume
  • An academic transcript (grade sheet)
  • A 750-word essay describing your opinion on the mental health debate in the U.S. and whether you believe the mental health system is in need of reform. If so, include the steps you believe are necessary to accomplish this reform.
