To help students obtain quality higher education in the field of accounting at affordable rates, Kent State University has brought Freshman Accounting Excellence Scholarship. This scheme will benefit to incoming freshmen students who are admitted as accounting majors at Kent State University.
Students who demonstrate leadership, service and their interest in the field of accounting will be given consideration. This scholarship is aimed at finding talented students and helping them become the future leaders in the field of accounting. Through this funding programme, students will gain not only financial support for their undergraduate level education but also motivation to work hard and give their best throughout their learning journey.

Who May Be Eligible?
The following requirements must be met to take part in this funding programme:
- Candidates should be incoming freshmen admitted as accounting majors;
- Recipients should have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA;
- Applicants must demonstrate leadership and/or service.
How to Apply
All the applicants of the scholarship must be admitted as accounting majors at the Kent Campus can apply for this scholarship by filling out an online application form. The application form with all required supporting documents must be returned to:

Candidates must provide official high school transcript with ACT/SAT scores and the first grading period of your senior year with their scholarship application.
All successful candidates will get to win educational funds to pursue an undergraduate course in accounting at Kent State University. This educational fund will help them pay for their cost of study, and make studying at Kent State University easier and affordable.
