Individual Artist Grant Program 

St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is welcoming candidates to apply and enjoy their IAGP Scholarship. Candidates who cannot afford Pecuniary embarrassment can apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Artists who have received an award within the past two years are not eligible for 2021 Grant funds. Fellows must be a legal resident of the City of St. Petersburg and are expected to continue their residency in the City of St. Petersburg following the grant award.

The Petersburg Arts Alliance understands the student’s burden and wants to take a step that can support the students with their needs. This scholarship will reduce the costs that pressure students. This is an excellent chance for fellows to focus on their academics by getting rid of their educational expenses. Through this program, the firm wants to explore creativity and open new ways towards success.

Petersburg Arts Alliance is a nonprofit founded in 2012 dedicated to raising money and advocating for our entire creative community – artists, arts and cultural organizations, and creative businesses. Individual Artist Grant Program 15 grants are intended to provide financial support to the City of St. Petersburg resident artists for specific projects. The program is designed to support individual work/projects’ public engagement in the Visual Arts, Craft Arts, Dance, Music, Theater, or Literature.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the requirements for these scholarships:

  • Candidates must have completed at least 18 years of age.
  • Artists who have already received an award within the past two years are not eligible for 2021 Grant funds.
  • Applicants should be legal residents of the City of St. Petersburg and are expected to continue their residency in St. Petersburg.
  • Fellows are not eligible for college or university projects pursuing any degree or full-time faculty in higher education.
  • Faculty can apply if it is for a separate creative business.

How to Apply 

To be a part of this scholarship, candidates should apply for the scholarship online. Please ensure you fill every essential information with all the materials. The applicants should follow the deadline strictly and should provide the application form before the deadline. Any invalid information provided will be rejected.

Supporting Documents 

  • Candidates’ resumes should show allegiance to the art form through education or executive experience and must deliver confirmation of exhibition, public performance, or publication during the past two years.

The organization will award $1,000 to the deserving students. This scholarship will benefit deserving artists. So each artist who seems to be eligible must be a part of this program.
