FBJSL Scholarship Programs

Fort Bend Junior Service League is presenting the FBJSL Scholarship Programs opportunity to women seeking assistance to achieve academic excellence. The scholarships offered are Volunteer Scholarship and New Beginnings Scholarships. The female students who are senior graduating from a Fort Bend County public or private high school or who have had a break or interruption in her education are encouraged to apply for the scholarship programs.

The purpose of introducing the FBJSL Scholarship Programs is to assist female students pursuing higher education. The scholarship aims to empower and encourage female students. The scholarship grants financial support to students to help them fulfil their dreams.

The Fort Bend Junior Service League founded in 2001, is a non-profit organization of women which provides volunteer services, leadership, and philanthropy for enriching the Fort Bend County. FBJSL has a steadfast involvement in community outreach and is widely recognized for its compassion, integrity.

Who May be Eligible?

The applicants must comply with the eligibility criteria for the FBJSL Scholarship Programs-

For Volunteer Scholarship-

  • The applicant must be a woman.
  • The applicant must be a senior graduating from a Fort Bend County public or private high school.
  • Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Applicant must have participated for at least 100 hours of volunteer service high school.

For New Beginnings Scholarship-

  • The applicant must be a woman who has had a break in education.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Fort Bend County.
  • Applicant must currently be enrolled or accepted into an accredited two or four-year college or university or an accredited vocational school that has been approved and accredited by the State of Texas.

How to Apply?

The eligible applicant must begin with the application process for the FBJSL Scholarship Programs. To apply for the Volunteer Scholarship and New Beginnings Scholarship, the applicant must fill in the application form and submit it via mail to brccom@fbjsl.com. The application must be filled to be adequately along with the supporting documents.

Benefits

The recipient FBJSL Scholarship Programs will receive various awards. The New Beginnings Scholarship will grant $2000 as an award, and the Volunteer Scholarship will grant $1000 as an award.
