Downeast Coastal Conservancy is now offering young photographers a chance to showcase their talent through its Inspired by Nature Photo Contest 2021. Every year, this photo contest comes up with the purpose of helping inspire the continued protection of our local landscapes through photography. Downeast Coastal Conservancy Inspired by Nature Photo Contest emphasizes and encourages land conservation. There are two adult categories involved in this year’s contest: Serenity of Nature and People Enjoying the Land. And there is a special youth category in which youth 15 and under can participate.
The submitted photos can be of nature, people, and all the scenic views in between. One winner in each category will be selected and will get amazing perks. The winning photograph will be featured in the DCC annual newsletter. Up to three submissions in each category are allowed. Downeast Coastal Conservancy is interested to know what places, animals, or plants inspire you. Whether it is a beautiful waterfall, autumn leaves, or just sunset, it can be anything that inspires you, and you want to share with everyone.
