The Conservation Districts of Iowa are passionate about the IOWA development, and for achieving their aim, these scholarships have been initiated. The foundation knows that completing higher education in agriculture or conservation is not very easy and needs a lot of financial standing and for helping students with it these s scholarships are designed. The funds will reduce the candidates’ burden of the educational costs and encourage them to advance the agricultural field.
The Conservation Districts of Iowa or CDI with the mission of informing, educating and leading Iowans through their local soil and water conservation districts to promote conservation of natural resources. The district is dedicated towards the development of the agriculture and conservation in Iowa with differing programs. The foundation is passionate for supporting the education and awareness of agriculture and conservation.

- Candidates must be Iowa students interested in conservation and agriculture.

Only the eligible candidates should begin with the application process by downloading the form. Fill all the required information and materials without any negligence. Do not submit any invalid or incomplete information in the application. Please make sure you submit the applications before the deadline. Later applications will directly be rejected. Answer all the questions adequately in the application.
Supporting Documents
- What does soil and water conservation mean to you? 400-600 word essay with the application should be submitted.
- An official transcript, with your ACT, SAT or other standardized test scores are required. One letter of recommendation from your school or an employer is required.
Benefits
Three scholarships will be awarded at the state level in the amounts of $3000, $2000 and $1000. Moreover, selected students from the remaining six regions will each receive $500. The students selected at second and third position awards will be directly given to the applicant’s school of choice in two equal instalments, one upon enrollment at the beginning of the year and the second at midterm. Later six other funds will be paid directly to the students.
