Who May Be Eligible
Here are the requirements you mandatorily stand on to be eligible for these scholarships:
- Candidates should be a historically underserved student who self-identify as Black/African American; Hispanic or Latino; America Indian or Alaska Native; Asian; or Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander to be eligible.
- Fellows must be planning to enrol in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates or current college undergraduates residing in one of the following states: CT, OH, WV, VA, MD, NC, SC, ID, WY, UT to be considered.
- Students should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested students should apply for the program by submitting the online application form with all the necessary information without any negligence. Please strictly follow the deadline as late or incomplete submission done will not be accepted to award the scholarships. You have to submit all the essential supporting materials with the applicable mandatory for the scholarship. Do not submit an incomplete application.
Supporting Documents
- A current, complete transcript of grades, copy of the first two pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040 used for the Financial Information Page are mandatory with your application. One letter of recommendation should also be submitted.
Benefits
Twenty students will be selected to award the $5,000 will be grant pursuing 2-year programs, and 40 awards of $10,000 will be granted to students pursuing 4-year degrees. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first only when the candidate maintain the academic standard. This scholarship encourages students to maintain good academic standing.

The last date to submit applications is January 25, 2022. Recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf no later than January 28, 2021.
