Scholarships are a way to provide ambitious students with financial supports to complete their education. However, these scholarships are not just for students in college or university. They are sometimes organized for people undergoing specific courses or programs. These scholarships are meant to encourage a particular set of groups so that they can pursue the certification, license, and diploma they want. Moreover, these scholarships boost students’ application for college or university and also give the impression that they are capable students with high achievements and accomplishments.
Colorado Ninety-Nines is a part of the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots that promotes the advancement of aviation through scholarships, education, and mutual support while simultaneously honouring their unique history and sharing the passion for flight. On September 28, 1941, the Colorado Chapter was charter, and since then, the Chapter has accumulated almost 150 members, which makes them the largest Chapter in the organization. They hold meetings every month on the second Saturday of each month, which usually happens in the Mt. Evans room in the terminal building at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. However, sometimes this meeting location differs that is notified in advance through the newsletters.
