The Nicodemus Wilderness Project is offering the Apprentice Ecologist Award for the individuals concerned and is in volunteering to save the environment. The entrants interested in conducting their stewardship project in 2020 are encouraged to participate for the award.
The purpose of the Apprentice Ecologist Award is to provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries of the award pursuing higher education. The goal of introducing the award is to elevate youth into leadership roles by engaging them conservation of the environment, to empower young people to rebuild the social well-being of communities and environment, and improve living conditions.
The Nicodemus Wilderness Project was founded in 2000, because of the need for environmental restoration, stewardship, and protection of neglected of public lands. It is a nonprofit organization in Alberquerque, United States. It provides global experiential education and service-learning opportunities for youth to help save the natural environment while developing their leadership skills.

Who May be Eligible?
Applicants interested in applying for The Apprentice Ecologist Award must follow the criteria-
- Applicant must be between the ages of 13 to 21.
- The applicant must be planning to enrol at an accredited institution to pursue higher education.
How to Apply?
To apply for The Apprentice Ecologist Award, the applicant must write an essay about the environmental project. Further, the applicant must register the essay along with the project photo and essay. The details must be entered with concern.
The Apprentice Ecologist Award will grant three scholarships of $1,750 to the authors of best essays. The scholarship award will provide financial assistance to the winners. The scholarship will help the students in offsetting the cost of tuition fees to enrol at an institute for post-secondary education and afford books, supplies, equipment for the course.
The applications for the Apprentice Ecologist Award must be submitted before December 31, 2020. Late applications will not be recognized.
