The American LegionDepartment of Michigan is proudly expecting applications for its worthy scholarships, namely William D. and Jewell Brewer Scholarships and Guy M. Wilson Scholarships. Eligibility requirements for each scholarship are different. Applicants should be a resident of Michigan and must be a descendant of discharged veteran or active duty service member to be eligible. Fellows should have a GPA of 2.5 and a financial need to be considered.

- William D. and Jewell Brewer Scholarships: Will be offered to 5 students for $500 each.
- Guy M. Wilson Scholarships: Will be offered to 15 students for $500 each.
- This amount must only be utilized to pay the education-related expenses of the students. These scholarships encourage students to contribute to the growth of Michigan.
