Applied to Life Scholarship 2021. Applicants should be having a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale to be considered. Students should be interested in pursuing or already pursuing a STEM degree.

The 3M and UNCF have united to award this excellent scholarship to reduce the students’ load and help them achieve success in the STEM. This scholarship is designed to reduce the burden on the students by defraying their academic costs. The process of the program is simple. While the firm understands the students’ pressure and knows how necessary it is to help them with robust financial support and for providing the same, this scholarship has been designed.

The 3M is the company which involves science in collaborative ways to improve lives daily with their incredible products. The began more than a century ago as a small-scale mining venture in Northern Minnesota, then named Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Now the 3M is a global house to help the people with their amazing products and other services.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the criteria you need to follow to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Students should be planning to enrol full-time or already enrolled at an accredited HBCU or Florida International University in the fall of 2021.
  • Applicants should be having a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale to be considered.
  • Students should be interested in pursuing or already pursuing a STEM degree.
  • Fellows must demonstrate, unmet financial need as verified by your college or university.
  • Individuals should be an African American/Black, American Indian – Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, Hispanic American having a U.S. Citizen to be eligible.

How to Apply 

Students should apply for the program by completing the online application form. Please provide all the necessary information and supporting materials with the application. The firm will not accept any incomplete material submitted. Data should be valid, and that’s the responsibility of candidates applying. Please do not submit late applications as those will not be accepted.

Supporting Documents 

  • A current transcript, one letter of recommendation from your high school counsellor, teacher, college professor, or community leader (not from family) must be submitted.
  • A resume and an essay prompt regarding STEM career goals/interested are mandatory.

Benefits 

Total 29 students will be Selected to award the scholarship of $25000 each. This amount will be received up to $25,000 within the four years of the program. The amount should only be used to pay the students’ educational needs like tuition, fees, and other related costs. These Scholarships are extremely simple to access and encourage students to work harder towards their goals.

Application Deadline 

The last date to apply for this program is May 10, 2021. Any submission done later will not be accepted.
