YWCA Northwestern Illinois provides programming and advocacies for more than 6,500 women, children, and families each month, who seek economic self-sufficiency through child care subsidy, job skills and computer training. YWCA Northwestern Illinois’ community racial justice work promotes a clear commitment to equality and the empowerment of every woman.

For Bright Future Scholarship-
- Applicant must be a female high school senior.
- Applicant must be planning to continue her education, not limited to college.
- Applicant must be a resident of and attending high school in Boone, Winnebago, Stephenson, or Jo Daviess Counties.
- Applicant must maintain a 2.5 academic average or equivalent.
For La Voz Latina Scholarship-
- The applicant must be of Hispanic or Latino descent.
- Applicant must be a resident of and attending high school in Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson or Jo Daviess Counties. Classification as a graduating senior by the time award is granted and be enrolled at an accredited college or university to receive funds.
- Applicant must maintain a 2.5 academic average or equivalent.
