Women of Vision Scholarships for Marathon County Students 2022

 The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) has announced a scholarship program for the year 2022 as Women of Vision Scholarships. The women studying in high school who are undergraduate or planning to attend university, college, technical, or trade school during the session 2022-2023 school year can apply for this program.

The applicants who will apply for this scholarship program and get selected will be awarded $500; a total of four scholarships will be distributed, which means the $2500 award amount will be given totally for this scholarship. The amount will help women to take higher studies according to their field with having less concern about the education expenses as the amount will be directly given to the school. This will ease their path, and they will achieve their goals.

The YWCA was established in the USA in 1858 and is a non-profit organization. It is the oldest and largest multicultural organization promoting solutions to build up and add up the lives of women, girls, and families. The mission of this organization is to eradicate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

How to Apply?

The eligible and interested women should fill the application form with proper details, including the name of the applicant, their permanent address, city, state, zip, contact number, Email. With this, applicants must list their community and/or volunteer activities and honors received and/or activities that will demonstrate leadership in a maximum of 100 words. Applicants should also write an essay describing their plans for the future and how education has helped them to achieve their goals, a project where they were involved in to benefit their community such as neighborhood, schools, etc. and their impact on the project and how did they carry out the project goals, and also mention that how they will intend to have an impact on their community’s quality of life in the future. Also, the applicant should attach their high school or college/tech school transcripts and attach three letters of recommendation. Lastly, students should sign a commitment to being present at the award place if selected. All the documents should be mailed or sent electronically in pdf format to:
