Volunteer Forever has been providing travel scholarships to students since 2014 to assist them in paying the costs of volunteering, studying, interning, teaching, or working overseas. We provide two tourists a $500 to $1,000 scholarship twice a year. This scholarship is available to travelers planning a variety of significant excursions throughout the world: no matter where you want to go in the globe, this scholarship can help. The scholarship money can be used for any expenses related to your trip, including program fees, flights, travel insurance, and even spending money while you’re away!
After Founder and CEO Steve Weddle’s volunteer trip to India in 2011, he came up with Volunteer Forever. His time volunteering overseas had a profound impact on him, and he returned home changed permanently. However, the journey to this wonderful event was difficult. Many tourists were prevented from engaging in these projects and assisting others throughout the world due to considerable knowledge and financial hurdles, he observed.
Volunteer Forever was created to break down such barriers: it’s a comprehensive online resource that assists people from all around the globe in finding and funding their ideal volunteer, intern, and teaches abroad opportunities. This scholarship is an extension of the organization’s aim.
