White House Historical Association is actively hosting a unique national art competition named “The White House: An American Story. This year the organization is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and to make this celebration more amazing and add value to it, it has presented this program. This contest invites kindergarten to 12-grade students to be a part of this opportunity and show their artistic talent to the world. The applications of this competition are available around the United States. To compete in this program, participants will need to send 2D art submissions that depict and reflect the White House, its legacy, collection, and diverse history. The entries must be original work of candidates and creatively reflecting this year’s theme.
This program is divided into three levels: grades K-3, 4-8, and 9-12. Candidates can send their application for one category as per their educational level. In each category, a first-place winner will be selected and awarded $1,000. White House Historical Association National Art Competition is a leading program recognized by America250. Interested aspirants are free to send their entries from February 1, 2021, to May 21, 2021, and the winners of this program will be announced in July 2021. The best part of this competition is that there is no fee to enter and compete. The application process is very simple so that maximum candidates can participate. There are two forms available on the official website of the organization: one for students and the second for the teacher. If the student is capable enough to submit their entry, then he/she can use the first application form. On the other hand, teachers are permitted to send applications on behalf of the participants who are unable to do this on their own.

How to Apply
All interested candidates can send their entry through the online portal of the organization. On the official page of the organization, there are two forms available: One for students and the second for teachers who want to submit their students’ artwork on their behalf. The form must be filled with all correct and complete information since fake and incomplete information can lead to disqualification.

Aspirants are required to send their 2D artwork through the online application form of the organization. The artwork must be submitted as an image JPG, TIFF, PNG files.
Benefits
