White House Fellowships for Graduate Students

The White House Fellowship is one of the most prestigious programs in the United States. It was founded in 1964 by Lyndon B. Johnson and known for leadership and public service. The fellowship program is widely famous for providing young and talented Americans with the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working at the highest level of the federal government. As a part of this program, you will get to know about the process of governing the Nation and develop a sense of personal involvement in the leadership of society. Applicants of this fellowship must be a citizen of the United States and have completed their undergraduate level education by the time they begin the application process.

Candidates of any age can participate in this program. This fellowship is your chance to gain experience of government service early in career. If you are considering pursuing a full-time career in the government sector, then there is no opportunity like this to get insight into what it is like to work in this sector. During this program, you will spend your time working as full-time, paid fellow of senior White House Staff. This is a one-year fellowship during which you will participate in educational programs.

White House Fellowship is a non-partisan fellowship. President Lyndon B. Johnson established this program with the mission of giving the fellows first hand, high-level experience with the workings of the Federal government and increasing their sense of participation in national affairs.
