Wabash College is very cheerful to inform you that it has started accepting applications for its wonderful Lilly Awards exclusively open for the academic year of 2020-2021. Applications of these awards are available for only first time freshmen students of Wabash College.

Lilly Awards are very prestigious honor provided by the Wabash College each year to young men who demonstrate high potential for leadership and future promise. These awards are established in the memory of the Lilly family of Indiana by the Wabash College Board of Trustees in 1974. These funding programmes are solely dedicated to recognize and reward top talented male students who possess the potential to make an impact not only on college but also on the community.

Wabash College is a private liberal art college educating men to think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely since 1832. It has 870 students who come from 27 states and 20 countries. This college is counted as one of the leading colleges, and its teachers hold the highest degree in their fields. Students have the option to choose from 25 majors and an additional nine minors at Wabash College. Courses available at Wabash provide students with skills and experiences that help Wabash graduates to be selected for top positions in business, as well as graduate and professional schools.

Who May Be Eligible?

Entrants who meet the following requirements are eligible for these awards:

  • Recipients must be first-time freshmen students;
  • Applicants should have a GPA of 3.5 (4.0 scale);
  • Candidates must rank within the top 10 percent of your senior class;
  • Aspirants should have an SAT score of at least 1240 (EBR + M) or an ACT composite of 26;
  • The scholarship will be awarded based on character, creativity, and academic accomplishment.

How to Apply

To receive these awards, recipients need to admit as new freshmen at Wabash College. They should submit a Wabash application for admission, a high school report, official standardized test scores, and a letter of recommendation from their guidance counsellor, and an official high school transcript. Once applicants have successfully been enrolled in an eligible course, they can send Lilly Award Application, including an essay and most significant accomplishments. Candidates are advised to call the office of admissions (800-345-5385) to schedule a virtual or on-campus visit.

Supporting Documents

A High School Report, official standardized test scores, a letter of recommendation from the guidance counsellor, and an official high school transcript must be sent together with the application for admission. On the other hand, aspirants will have to submit an essay and the most significant accomplishments with their Lilly award application.

Benefits

Each year, Wabash College offers this scholarship to help students with their educational expenses such as Tuition, standard fees, on-campus room, and board. The total value of a Lilly Award is $200,000 for each student for four years.

Application Deadline

Candidates can submit their application before or on January 6, 2021. The late application can lead to disqualification.
