2021 Vocational Scholarship for College and University Students

Rotary District 6440 has come forth with an excellent opportunity for the men and women within the district. Rotary district 6440 offers scholarships for students who are pursuing a career that doesn’t require a baccalaureate degree. The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove is granting this scholarship to support students for vocational or technical careers which are attainable with less than a four-year degree. Students should grab this opportunity and benefit themselves with this scholarship.

The purpose of offering this scholarship is to encourage students to achieve their goals. By offering scholarships, the club aims to provide financial support to the students. With financial aid, students can carry out their educational expenses. Receiving financial support will make students burden free and make them focus on their education. This will help them pave paths for their future.

Who May Be Eligible

Eligibility criteria for the Rotary District 6440 vocational scholarship program are as follows:

  • Students are entering educational programs preparing them for vocational or technical careers attainable with less than a four-year degree.

How to Apply 

Applications must be sent to Martha Weiss weiss.martha@gmail.com. Applicants must submit complete applications to the above email address. Fellows must submit all the mandatory documents and materials. Any late or incomplete applications will not be accepted by the college.

Supporting Documents 

Following are the Rotary District 6440 vocational scholarship program must be submitted with the applications:

  • Applicants must attach one completed and legible application form suitable for photo-copy reproduction.
  • Candidates have to submit two letters of reference with the application.
  • Transcripts of high school and/or community college must be attached with the scholarship form grades.

Benefits 

Winners will be awarded the Rotary District 6440 vocational scholarship and scholarship grants amount of $1,500. Each will be awarded to support students entering educational programs, preparing them for vocational or technical careers attainable with less than a four-year degree.
