Increasingly, students are taking time off between completing their undergraduate and medical school. For several, this extra time is used to help develop their medical school applications. Although there are several different ways of achieving this, completing a post-baccalaureate (post-bacc) program is one way. Before you apply to medical school, enrolling in a post-baccalaureate program can give you an opportunity to improve your transcript and knowledge base, and can be a good bridge between completing your undergraduate studies and entering medical school.
Programs may grant different degrees. Some programs grant a diploma certificate, while others, upon satisfactory completion of the criteria, award a master’s degree. In addition, post-baccalaureate programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are available.
If you are looking for a post baccalaureate medical program, the following list will help you browse through the best in the country. Hope you find a program that is the most ideal for you. Good Luck!
