The United Way of Lamar County is pleasingly welcoming students to apply for their outstanding United Way of Lamar County Scholarship. Lamar County high school senior entering two or four-year college programs in fall having a 3.0 or higher GPA are eligible.
The United Way of Lamar County understands the students’ financial difficulties and knows that educated society is mandatory for developing society and for helping the students complete their higher education, the county has created this scholarship. How to Apply

Please fill the application with all the essential information and materials with the application while submitting. Late submissions will not be accepted by the Foundation. Benefits
The Foundation will select one high school senior in Lamar County, Texas each year for a $500 scholarship. The funds received through this program can only be utilized to pay the candidates’ educational needs like books, fees, and other associated needs. These scholarships motivate students to achieve their goals by working hard and maintaining good academic standing.
Application Deadline
The due date to apply for the scholarship is May 1, 2021. The Foundation will not accept any late or incomplete applications.
