The University of Florida International Center is providing a handful of great international scholarships to students who want to pursue their higher education. In addition to this, they are also offering scholarships to students who want to study abroad for a minimum of at least three months or 26 days for summer applicants. Every year, the University of Florida admits over 6,000 international students from across the globe on its beautiful campus. International students may come to the United States in F-1 or J-1 visa status. International freshmen applicants to the university receive equal, unvarying holistic admission review irrespective of their secondary curriculum derivation. Who May Be Eligible?

Eligible candidate must be:

  • Undergraduate seeking first-time student
  • 75 GPA or higher
  • Open internationally
  • A study abroad application in the university’s system
  • Enrolled in an offline program

How to Apply

For international students who wish to apply to the University of Florida, must complete the Coalition Application or the Common Application. Applicants whose educational history has not followed a curriculum patterned after the U.S. system are encouraged to submit their academic transcripts to a credential evaluation agency for a course-by-course evaluation with grade point average calculation. For students applying to the study abroad, scholarship programs will have to go through the general application process.

Application Deadline

The application deadline varies for both the scholarships, although the application process is almost the same. Students are requested to check the official website for all important dates and deadlines as incomplete and late submissions will not be accepted.
