Photography is regarded as one of the rapidly growing career fields that require skills, passion, and dedication. Nowadays, whether it is part-time or full-time, students are taking an interest in pursuing a career as a photographer regardless of the field they are gaining education in. Photography as a career is getting popular among people with each passing day since it is full of career and employment opportunities. It is a kind of art for which one must have a lot of practice and perseverance. With the growth of media, entertainment, and fashion industries, photography has emerged as a fruitful career field witnessing success these days. There are many budding photographers out there who are just an opportunity away from becoming the next leader of this field. And to give such young and aspiring people a chance to showcase their talent in this area, Pennsylvania Resource CouncilSite has launched a fantastic contest that seems worth applying for.
Gene Capaldi Lens on Litter Photo Contest is your golden opportunity to win $500 and other unique perks by showcasing your talent. It is the right time to test your photography skills if you have not taken any step toward your goal of becoming a photographer. On the other hand, it is not necessary to be a professional photographer for this program. Applicants with any level of photography skills are welcome to apply. By participating in this contest, you will get to demonstrate your talent, gain experience in competing with others, and financial aid. The competition is designed not to glorify litter but to call attention to the careless and illegal act of littering or how it threatens the environment around the Commonwealth. Photos must be taken in Pennsylvania and will be judged on six criteria. So what are you waiting for? Send your candidature to be considered!
Pennsylvania Resource Council has been devoted to encourage and support individual and collective actions taken to prevent waste and conserve Pennsylvania’s environmental resources for each generation. It is not for profit environmental organization founded in 1939 by an assembly of citizens.
