The British American Foundation of Texas is warmly welcoming students to apply for their Early Starter Award. The award is available for Texas residents who are attending Middle School full time within the Texas education system. Applicants must maintain an average A grade and hold an excellent school attendance record to be applicable for the program.
The Early Starter award is intended to bring back students on the right track of success. Further education is a costly business and requires significant financial resources and planning. This is their effort towards getting you started. The organization will assist you in every possible way to let you accomplish your higher education with ease.
The British American Foundation of Texas levels playing fields, allowing gifted and talented students from underprivileged backgrounds to study and achieve their academic ambitions. It has been assisting gifted and talented young people to achieve their objectives since 2007. Their scholars from underprivileged backgrounds are able, with financial support from BAFTX, to complete their studies, start on their career paths and reach their potential.

Who May Be Eligible?
Interested students must review the given criteria to apply:
- Must be resident in Texas
- Must attend Middle School full time within the Texas education system;
- Must come from a low-income household;
- Must maintain an average A grade and hold an excellent school attendance record;
- Must be able to attend an Awards Dinner to receive a scholarship in Houston in April 2021.

The British American Foundation of Texas award a sum of money which would be placed into an escrow account, with an approved financial institution and intended for future use by a student towards the cost of their further education. The award is the sum of $1,000 to help recipients cope up with their high-cost educational expenses.
The deadline to apply for the award is 5 pm CT on January 31, 2021. The committee will not accept late or incomplete applications.
