Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must either be enrolled in mental health care, such as psychology, social work, or similar, are eligible to apply.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals must fill out the application form provided on the scholarship portal and submit it. Additionally, the candidate is required to write a 400-600 word essay on the following topic and submit it there:
“What is your utopian vision for optimal mental health for the Black community? How can mental health care and advocacy help achieve social justice for communities of color?”
Supporting Documents
After announcing the winner, the winner will have to provide proof of enrolment in the form of recent transcripts.
Benefits
The two winners will be publicly announced on November 29, 2021, and be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $5,007 each. The amount will be transferred by cheque to the institution’s financial aid office the candidate is attending. If there is no financial aid office in the candidate’s school or college, the amount will be directly transferred to the candidate.
