The Skipping Stones has announced the ‘Youth Honour Awards’, its competition to encourage young individuals interested in writing and drawing. All you need to do is submit your writing sample, it could be a poem, story, or anything or your work of art. Applications are now open for this exciting competition attracting talents from across the world. So, if you are a budding writer or a booming artist, then, this opportunity is for you!
The “Youth Honour Awards” is an initiative to encourage art and literature. Art inspires people to see what they need to live and to build for the sake of language and sense. Similarly, literature helps us to travel across time and learn about life on the planet from those who have gone before us. Thus encouraging this in youth is of at most importance. The competition aims to achieve this.
The publisher and executive editor of Skipping Stones magazine are Arun Narayan Toke. Arun, who was born and raised in India, moved to the United States to pursue his engineering graduate studies.
