SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship Programs 

Graduating public high school seniors, who are either members of State Employees’ Credit Union (“SECU”) or eligible for membership through a parent/guardian who is a SECU member, have an excellent opportunity. The SECU Foundation is happily offering its worthy SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship Programs. Fellows must be a graduating North Carolina charter school seniors attending one of the 16 constituent campuses of the UNC System to be eligible for this scholarship.

The SECU Foundation wants to support the higher education of students through its worthy initiatives. The Foundation is keen towards supporting and making lives easy of its members, and they are loved and takes every possible step to achieve this goal. The Foundation understands that completing higher education takes a lot of financial stability and for making it possible for everyone they have designed these scholarships. The programs supported by the members of the foundation reduces the financial burden of the students.

The Foundation is known for its incredible services and their dedication towards the advancement of the area. The Foundation creates different programs to support the deserving students with their needs and help them promote the growth of Country. The Foundation have members coming from different backgrounds.

Who May Be Eligible?

Check the requirements mentioned below before applying for the scholarships:

  • Graduating public high school seniors either members of State Employees’ Credit Union (“SECU”) or eligible for membership through a parent/guardian who is a SECU member, are eligible.
  • Fellows must be a graduating North Carolina charter school seniors attending one of the 16 constituent campuses of the UNC System to be considered.

How to Apply 

All the eligible and interested candidates should apply for the scholarship by downloading the online application form to get a brief about the materials. Candidates should collect all the essential information and documents to be sent for this scholarship. Any late or incomplete submission done will not be accepted by the foundation. Fellows are responsible for the authenticity of the information they are submitting. Late applications will be rejected. Submit everything to secufoundation@ncsecu.org.

Supporting Documents 

  • Copy of university acceptance letter, photo of the student, written NC Office of Charter schools scholarship selection committee statement, signed by all committee members, on NC Office of Charter Schools Letterhead, Hand signed Consent Form is mandatory.

Benefits 

Total three students will be selected to award scholarship valued at $10,000 each. This scholarship will effectively reduce the financial stress of the candidate and encourage them to achieve their career goals without worrying about finances. These scholarships motivate students to work hard for their dreams. The funds should only be utilized to pay the educational needs of the candidates like tuition, books and other needs.

Application Deadline 

All the students should submit their applications to the foundation before or on April 5, 2021. No incomplete submission will be accepted.
