Piloting Scholarships

Piloting is an exhilarating and enticing career. The profession covers a diverse variety of passions and interesting challenges, with career prospects ranging from flying a helicopter to serving in air traffic control. Even such a brilliant career, though, has its pitfalls. The chances of a student finding a job in piloting are still slim, and any degree in the profession comes with a hefty price tag to pay lab fees and travel expenses. Many piloting students graduate with a considerable amount of debt from student loans. When you factor in the scheduling challenges and weather issues that are special to the major, piloting students face a particularly daunting path to a college diploma.

However, this would not rule out the possibility of earning an aviation degree. Scholarships and scholarships can assist with flight costs as well as more traditional college expenses including tuition and books. There are many aviation scholarships available, several of which are described below. Furthermore, because of the rigour of their academic curriculum, aviation students are among the most talented, level-headed, and committed college students, and therefore have an especially good chance of receiving scholarships from outside their speciality.

The job outlook for positions in the aviation industry is not that good. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, career growth for aircraft mechanics and avionics technicians will be just 6% between now and 2020. This is slower than the national average for all jobs. The outsourcing of repair jobs to other countries would be a major contributor to this sluggish development. Those with a bachelor’s degree and a willingness to transfer would have the best job prospects.

And in order to help you achieve that, here is a concise list of 10 scholarships to get you started!

Since the programme is designed to choose a student who will begin college as a freshman, qualifying students who are already enrolled in college may apply.
