BEN makes a secured spot for Black representatives to make associations, develop personally and expertly, and open doors in the cybersecurity field. To apply for this grant, the competitor must be a graduating secondary school senior and be able to get acknowledgment into a qualified degree program (counting yet not restricted to software engineering, electrical designing, math, and so on). The candidate must have a base total secondary school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must keep a total student GPA of basically 3.2 on a 4.0 scale to stay qualified for the grant throughout the span of four years. The candidate must be planning to pursue a career in the cybersecurity field. The candidate must distinguish as Black or potentially African American (African, African American, Caribbean, for instance) and be a U.S. Resident, U.S. national, or permanent resident. To be considered to get this $40,000 grant ($10,000 each year for 4 years straight), finish and present the accompanying application by January 7, 2022.

Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
- Be a graduating high school senior.
- Be able to verify acceptance into an eligible degree program (including but not limited to computer science, electrical engineering, math, etc.).
- Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Maintain a cumulative undergrad GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale to remain eligible for the scholarship over the course of four years.
- Be planning a career in cybersecurity/information security.
- Complete the scholarship application and include a one-page essay and two letters of reference.
- Identify as Black and African American (African, African American, Caribbean, for example) and be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.
