MCPSRA allows their teachers and the staff to participate in a recognized educational program during the summer or fall of 2021 and provide a scholarship for their participation. MCPSRA is taking the initiative towards their employee to provide them with higher education and help their academics achieve the goal. Montgomery County Public Schools Retirees Association is pleasantly announcing two adorable scholarships to reduce the employee’s burden for their following academics. Scholarship eligibility is based on many aspects like scores, academic level or financial conditions, and more.
Their mission is to encourage their employees towards education and help them pursue education by providing scholarships; They want to update their employees towards the studies and encourage them to pursue it without worrying about the finances. As a better education brings a change in the society and improves the living of the people, they have initiated this scholarship.
MCPSRA is looking forward to encouraging the MCPS employees to participate in a recognized educational program during their summer or fall of 2021.they are providing two different scholarships they are Louise Walker Memorial Scholarship which will be for only teachers, and MCPSRA Scholarship, which will be provided for all the MCPS staff.

Who May Be Eligible

How to Apply
All applicants are kindly requested to fill the complete form by taking prints of it and mail it to Dr Carol M. Dahlberg, President, MCPSRA 8800 Damascus Road Damascus, MD 20872, before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted by the organization.
Supporting Documents
Following is the eligibility criteria for the scholarship :
- Applicant must submit a complete application.
- Fellows must answer all the question in the application.
- Applicant must submit a Typed essay or video of 750 words or 5 minutes maximum. Explaining the candidates’ story. Include how their medical condition has affected their life and explain their goals for the future
- Candidates must provide a Physician’s statement of diagnosis.
- Students should submit the most recent transcript.
- Applicant must provide a Document verifying acceptance by the college or current enrollment.

The scholarship should be used for academic needs like tuition, fees, and other related expenses. These scholarships encourage the staff to achieve their goals by overcoming a hard time. The process of these scholarships is too easy. These programs encourage the employees to make the most of their careers. MCPSRA is providing a scholarship worth 1,500 dollars which will be awarded in June 2021.
