Who May Be Eligible?
These requirements must be met to be eligible to apply:
- All incoming freshmen, incoming transfer students, and current undergraduate students can apply;
- Incoming freshmen must have a minimum composite ACT of 20 or an SAT of 950;
- Current students and incoming transfer students must have a minimum college GPA of 3.0;
- The scholarship will be offered based on the strength and promise of the writing sample, the quality of the student’s work in creative writing classes, and the student’s overall academic excellence.
How to Apply
All candidates will need to complete an online application form and submit a 5-25 page sample of their best writing in poetry, fiction, non-fiction, or drama. To get access to the application form, applicants will have to log in through the university’s online portal. All incoming students are advised to complete their application for admission before starting the application process for the scholarship.

Benefits
