These awards are made possible for the academic year of 2020-2021. Students enrolling in any undergraduate course at Muhlenberg College can take advantage of these programmes.
For merit awards, candidates will be selected solely based on their academic and extracurricular achievements in high school, and promise for excellent scholarship and extracurricular contributions on the college level. By winning one of these awards, you can remove all the financial barriers, and motivate yourself to do better in your respective field.
Muhlenberg College has been dedicated to helping students to be independent critical thinkers and responsible citizens since it was founded as a seminary in 1848 by the Reverend Samuel K Brobst. It equips its students with ethical and civic values and prepares them for leadership roles in every field. At this institution, students get intellectually rigorous education that helps them throughout their life. More than 40 academic majors, minors, and certifications are provided at Muhlenberg College in various areas of study. Muhlenberg also offers several co cooperative programmes in partnership with a second university.

Who May Be Eligible?

- Candidates should be incoming freshmen of Muhlenberg College;
- These awards will be allocated based on academic and extracurricular achievements in high school and promise for excellent scholarship and extracurricular contributions on the college level.
How to Apply
It is mandatory to take admission first in any undergraduate course at Muhlenberg College to be eligible for these awards. Applicants will automatically be considered for these scholarships at the time of application review. Candidates are advised to meet all the requirements and provide valid and complete information in their application to receive serious consideration for a merit award.
The college will provide four merit awards which carry different award amount:
- Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Scholarship – $40,000
- Muhlenberg Presidential Scholarship – $10,000-$30,000
- Commitment to Excellence Award – $2,500-$9,000
- Talent Grant – $1,000-$4,000
The application deadline is February 1, 2020.
