If you are a woman in technology, then here is good news for you. The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation is ready to empower women in technology with its worthy MCWT Scholarship Program. Candidates should be female residents of Michigan state and citizens of the United States with a GPA of 3.0 or more to be eligible. Fellows should be enrolled in a Michigan university in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in majors of computer science, software engineering, digital forensics, information systems, computer information system or other related courses.
The purpose of the scholarship is to support the women in technology to do better. This program is designed to empower women in technology from Michigan State. This scholarship aims to make Michigan State number one for women in technology and support these females to make most of their career opportunities. This innovative program is initiated to help women financially in their technology careers.
The MCWT or Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation’s mission is to support Michigan’s women to be the best in the United States. The foundation knows that the development and transformation of Michigan are through expanding the IT workforce. The foundation has designed different programs purposely to achieve its goal of transforming Michigan with professionals having an impact on the nation’s growth.
