This scholarship is made possible with the help of the Scott J. Reisser Memorial Scholarship Fund which was founded in 2007 in honour of the memory of Scott J. Reisser who was a bright student and passed away due to brain tumour in 2006. If you are a brain tumour survivor, and admitted or currently attending, a two- or four-year college or vocational program, then you are welcome to be a part of this opportunity.
The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support brain tumour survivors to achieve their educational goals. This one-time scholarship is offered each year to deserving students who are doing great academically but dealing with a brain tumour. The program is an initiative of foundation toward realizing such brain tumour survivor their educational dreams and preventing them from losing hope.
