Who May Be Eligible
Eligibility Criteria for each scholarship program are different. Some mandatory requirements are mentioned below:
- Individuals must be students in any Kansas State University or college with good academic standing to be eligible for the scholarship.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit their applications and other documents through email. The email should have the subject line: KLF Scholarship Application on shelbi@kla.org. Applicants must submit all the documents before the deadline to be considered for the scholarships. Please follow the deadlines strictly.
Supporting Documents
- Applicants must submit a cover letter describing the applicant’s background, livestock enterprise, career and education plans, applicant’s most important achievement, and why they deserve/needs a scholarship.
- Candidates must submit a resume with the application.
- Individuals must attach contact information for 2-3 references.
- Fellows must submit their recent transcript. Following are some instructions applicants must follow:
- If a candidate is in sophomore level or below, college and high school transcripts must be attached with the application.
- If a student is in junior college, attach transcripts if available.
- Veterinary students also must submit undergraduate transcripts
- Transcripts need not be official
